  • -Victoria Falls and Zambia: Tropical climate with hot, humid summers (November to April) and mild, dry winters (May to October). South Luangwa National Park: Similar to Zambia. -Lake Malawi: Tropical with high temperatures year-round. -Mikumi National Park and Zanzibar: Tropical climate with hot, humid periods and a drier season (May to October).

  • The dry season from May to October is recommended for safari activities, as animals are easier to find due to limited water availability. The months of April to June are perfect for visiting the Victoria Falls, when water levels are at their highest.

  • It is recommended to get vaccinated against yellow fever, especially when entering from a yellow fever endemic area. Malaria prophylaxis is advisable, as malaria is prevalent in many parts of Africa. Wear protective clothing in the evenings and use insect repellent.

  • Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality. For Zambia and Tanzania, you may be able to apply for visas on arrival or online. We recommend that you inform yourself about the specific requirements before traveling and obtain any necessary visas.

  • On safari tours, space is limited. Typically, one medium-sized piece of luggage per person is allowed, along with a carry-on. It is recommended to use soft bags, as they are easier to store.

  • In urban areas like Lusaka and Stone Town, Wi-Fi and mobile reception are common. In rural areas and national parks, however, the connection may not be as good.

  • In Zambia, the Zambian Kwacha is used, while in Tanzania the Tanzanian Shilling is valid. In tourist areas, US dollars are often accepted. We recommend carrying both local currencies for smaller expenses and US dollars for larger transactions.
